Upcoming All-SEC Events

Come join the rest of the SEC as we watch what should be the de-facto  National Championship Game with fellow SECers. We’ll be welcoming everyone to our Swamp away from the Swamp at St. Andrews.

Gator Football vs LSU Tigers

Gator Football vs LSU Tigers
10/6/2012 (11:00 Tailgate, 12:30 Kickoff)
St. Andrews Bar & Grill
7406 Aurora Avenue North  Seattle, WA 98103

Wow, 4-0 is certainly an encouraging start, particularly considering our less-than-stellar 2011 campaign. Yes, it’s still early, but I think we all must be impressed and optimistic with this year’s Gators - two wins on the road against teams that have proven themselves competitive (Texas A& M and UT) and facing a highly ranked team that seems a tad vulnerable (Yes, I am looking at you Les!). For the first time in a couple years I think we are all anticipating this weekend’s contest with a REAL sense that we can handle, if not man-handle, the Bayou-Bangles!
If you’re like me, you are sick and tired of seeing the Mad Hatter successfully execute on his fourth down plays - madness, yes, but against UF of late it has been sheer genius. However, this year’s team seems more adept both offensively and defensively to cope with Miles’ dastardly tricks. We’ve seen it, we expect it, and we will react!
Come on out this Saturday to watch will hopefully be the beat-down in Hogtown, Sure, my expectations might be too lofty at this point, but the Orange and Blue are looking inspiring. To dream the impossible dream…
Go Gators! Or as they say in Cajun country, “Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez.”which I believe translates to let “Let Ben Hill Griffin bleed in purple and gold!”

Courtney

***The BBQ tailgate has been confirmed! We will be doing 15 dollar plates. It will include ribs, chicken and brats plus beans and either cole slaw/potato salad! There will be a football toss out back, and we will also be having an 11:00 tailgate start time, but feel free to show up earlier, as it will be a packed house! Go Gators! If you can only make one game this year, this is the one to come to! See you Saturday at St. Andrews! Make sure to bring cash! ***

The Gators are Elite!

Gator Basketball vs. Louisville (Elite Eight)
Saturday 12:30PM (1:30PM tip-off)
Buckley’s in Belltown
2331 2nd Avenue Seattle, WA 98121

Seattle Gators,

Yesterday roughly 40 Gators and friends shared in the Sweet 16 experience, and how sweet it was. Buckley’s in Belltown was electric and intimate as chants of Orange and Blue and Go Gators echoed throughout the venue. Good times were had by all (except for the Marquette fans and Gator haters) which is a precursor to another epic showdown. As you may well know, there is a long history between Coach Donovan and Coach Pitino. Donovan was an assistant on Coach Pitino’s staff. Billy the Kid is also 0-6 all-time against his mentor. But this is a new day and a focused Gator team. The implications for this game are huge:

· Teacher vs. Student
· Big East vs. SEC
· Dieng vs. Young
· Zone D vs. Full Court Press

Although the turnout was great for the sweet 16 match, I know we can flex Gator Nation’s
collective muscle and draw even more fans for the match. Ideally I would like the entire venue in Orange and Blue.

There will be sections available for kids as well, so if you are interested and would like to bring children, let us know in advance so we can request the right number of tables!

The game starts at 1:30PM, but please arrive an hour early if possible so we can make sure to shore up as many tables as possible. Accurately predicting the turnout is an inexact science, so the earlier you arrive, the better we can assist you.

Go Gators!

Thursday: Sweet Sixteen Viewing: Florida v. Marquette

Buckley's has a kid friendly section.
