Sunday, Oct. 21 at 10:30am: Fall Fun at Carleton Farm Outing

Please join us for an afternoon of Fall Fun at Carleton Farm in Lake Stevens! Gators of all ages will enjoy touring the farm on a tractor-pulled hay wagon, picking through the pumpkin patch, checking out the farm animals, running through the corn mazes, firing the pumpkin cannon, and chomping down on farm-fresh produce and other snacks. Carleton is open from 10am to 7pm; we'll be meeting at 10:30am in the picnic table area. General admission is FREE and there are nominal charges for some of the activities such as the cannon, kids' play area, and train. The farm is located at 830 Sunnyside Blvd SE in Lake Stevens, just minutes directly east of downtown Everett. Wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy!

Gator Football vs LSU Tigers

Gator Football vs LSU Tigers
10/6/2012 (11:00 Tailgate, 12:30 Kickoff)
St. Andrews Bar & Grill
7406 Aurora Avenue North  Seattle, WA 98103

Wow, 4-0 is certainly an encouraging start, particularly considering our less-than-stellar 2011 campaign. Yes, it’s still early, but I think we all must be impressed and optimistic with this year’s Gators - two wins on the road against teams that have proven themselves competitive (Texas A& M and UT) and facing a highly ranked team that seems a tad vulnerable (Yes, I am looking at you Les!). For the first time in a couple years I think we are all anticipating this weekend’s contest with a REAL sense that we can handle, if not man-handle, the Bayou-Bangles!
If you’re like me, you are sick and tired of seeing the Mad Hatter successfully execute on his fourth down plays - madness, yes, but against UF of late it has been sheer genius. However, this year’s team seems more adept both offensively and defensively to cope with Miles’ dastardly tricks. We’ve seen it, we expect it, and we will react!
Come on out this Saturday to watch will hopefully be the beat-down in Hogtown, Sure, my expectations might be too lofty at this point, but the Orange and Blue are looking inspiring. To dream the impossible dream…
Go Gators! Or as they say in Cajun country, “Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez.”which I believe translates to let “Let Ben Hill Griffin bleed in purple and gold!”

***The BBQ tailgate has been confirmed! We will be doing 15 dollar plates. It will include ribs, chicken and brats plus beans and either cole slaw/potato salad! There will be a football toss out back, and we will also be having an 11:00 tailgate start time, but feel free to show up earlier, as it will be a packed house! Go Gators! If you can only make one game this year, this is the one to come to! See you Saturday at St. Andrews! Make sure to bring cash! ***
