Celebrate the start of football season with the Annual Gator Picnic. Celebrate in the sun at the lovely Golden Gardens where we’ll have the beach, views of the mountains and bbq. We’ll provide burgers, hot dogs and vegetarian options and drinks. Please bring your favorite side to share with the group.

This one is for the ladies! After such a fun and successful day last year, we will once again take to the water for Lady Gator Day with kayaking in South Lake Union from from 8:30-11:00am PT followed by lunch at Aqua Verde.

Seattle Gators and the MS Walk This Sunday!

For the fourth year in a row, the Seattle Gator Club will participate in the MS Walk. It takes place this Sunday, April 14 at 9:00am starting at the UW.

We will support fellow Gator Ryan by joining Team Blitz. The walk will start at the Husky Stadium parking lot. Our tent is #28. The walk is a 4 mile path from Husky Stadium to Gasworks park and back.

March 2: Annual Seattle Gator Ski and Snowboard Day

Whether it’s your first time in the snow, or you’re a seasoned professional, don’t miss out on this great day of skiing and snowboarding with the Seattle Gator Club.

When: Saturday, March 2, 2013

Where: The Stevens Pass Ski Area has 11 lifts of which two are high speed quads. There is terrain for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. The Stevens Pass Ski Area is located on Highway 2 about 85 miles Northeast of Seattle. You can find out more about Stevens Pass at their web site, www.stevenspass.com

Times:

·       For those taking lessons and/or renting equipment, meet at the rental shop at 9:00 AM

Meet in the upper-level food area at the main lodge around 11:30 AM and around 3:30 PM.

Cost:

·       Lift Passes: $65

Rentals: $38
Beginner Package (One Group Lesson, includes Rental Equipment, Lift Ticket): $89

RSVP by Feb. 25 to Neil. We’ll be arranging car pools from the Monroe Park and Ride based on this information, so don’t forget to RSVP.

Have a knack for graphic design? Love to get creative? The Seattle Gator Club is in search of our next T-shirt design, and we need your help. If you’ve got an idea for a design, tag line or any ideas whatsoever, send them in to us by April 1. No specific format necessary. The winner will have their design featured on our 2013 Football season T-shirts and will receive a $50 gift card to Amazon.

Feb. 2: Tubbs Romp to Stomp Snowshoe

Join the Seattle Gator Club Romp to Stomp team to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. We'll be gathering up a team for the Tubbs Romp to Stomp Snow Shoe 5K and 3K Walk on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 9:00am at Stevens Pass Nordic Center.

If you've never snowshoed, this is a great way to get some experience and it's for a good cause.

Week of January 14th: Advanced Registration is $37 until 1/31

Day of Registration on Saturday, February 2 is $42

***Kids ages 6-12 years old are discounted and babies 0-5 years old are free to attend with registered adult :)

 The cost still includes a free rental of snowshoes - so it's great for beginning snowshoers!
