New Year Newsletter

Happy New Year Gators! Our resolution this year is to keep the Gator fun going despite the not-so-great football season. Just because the days are shorter and the temps are cooler, it doesn’t mean that you have to hibernate. We’ve some great events to kick off the New Year from fun in the snow to a night at the ballet to basketball games. Check out the details below. And congrats to all our members for making the Seattle Gator Club the winner of the new membership drive.

 

SPECIAL EVENTS

 

Feb. 8: Snowshoeing Event

For the third year, we are hosting a Gator Alumni team for the Tubbs Romp to Stomp Snowshoeing Event to stomp out Breast Cancer. The Romp to Stomp is a snowshoe walk that benefits the local Affiliate of Susan G. Komen®. No prior snowshoe experience required. In fact, it’s a great way to try it out for the first time. The walk takes place at Steven’s Pass Nordic Center. Registration is $45 for adults and $30 for children. Register with the Seattle Gators by following this link.

Feb. 8: Lady Gator Night at the Ballet
The Lady Gators 1st annual Winter Event will kick off with a trip to the Ballet. We will be seeing Sleeping Beauty...the story of our 2013 Football team. The ballet starts at 6:30pm at McCaw Hall. We have 15 tickets on hold with PNW Ballet but can get more if we have more RSVPs.

Feb/March TBD (pending some snow!): Annual Gator Ski Day

We’ll send out details once we have more idea of when the mountains will be good for skiing.
